[REALMS-8185] 1.17 realms not working

I have loaded Minecraft client 1.17 and attempted to launch a realms account. Realms told me the client was not supported and I must load Java 1.16.5

When will realms be supported by v. 1.17?

Realms probably hasn't updated yet. It should be up for 1.17 no later than 2 days from now.

Thanks, had me wondering. Looked through all the change logs, Mojang Twitter/support page and couldn't find anything referencing realms and the 1.17 update

Only the admin of a Realm can trigger the upgrade. There are people talking about it on Reddit and how it is succeeding.
