[REALMS-8648] stuck on screen that says "buy Realms"; Play button greyed out

When starting Realms, I'm stuck on a screen that only allows me to buy a new realm;

Also, buttons on startup and options screens can only change when tabbing (does not change with mouse hovering over button)
