It was found that text disappeared from book and quill after writing in it and signing it on our current bedrock 1.17 realm, leaving behind a completely unedited, unsigned book.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. make a book and quill
2. write text in the book
3. create title and label author of the book
4. sign the book
5. open the book
Observed Results:
Upon opening the book after signing, the text will be gone and the "sign" button will show up under the page again as if the book was never used or signed.
Expected Results:
The book should display the previously written text and be un-editable.

Issue appears to be unresolved for bedrock ps4 edition, as I am getting the same exact issue mentioned above
I can confirm this is an issue playing on realms with Xbox Series S also. Several members of the realm have reported the same issue on other platforms. If it would help I could get more precise data about the platforms players are using. In all cases the text will disappear upon exiting the text editting section before even signing the book. When the book is reopened the pages are blank. I have known in one instance the text reappear in the book sometime later. This is very similar to the sign and anvil renaming bugs and seemed to appear around the same time.
Cleaning up old tickets: This ticket had been set to 'Awaiting Response', but has not received a response from the reporter (~3 months+) so is being closed as Incomplete.
