On Minecraft.net it is no longer possible to change skin as going to profile now redirects to another page

Please try logging out and back in. You should see a small arrow next to "Minecraft: Java Edition", click on it to change your username and skin.
If it still says "Buy now" after logging out and back in, then that account does not seem to own Minecraft.
Hey! I think you are able to change your skin in the minecraft launcher now rather than through the web browser. Try getting the most updated version of the launcher.
⚠️ Please do not mark Unreleased Versions as affected. You don't have access to them yet.
