Players, especially those who are unexperienced, currently wouldn't be able to find if the Super Mario Mash-up Pack was platform restricted before purchase in official sites, and even in physical game card boxes, requiring a purchase to find out it is.
Proves of the issue:
Before early March, I could search for one in Minecraft Help which meant the Super Mario Mash-up Pack was platform-restricted (from “Can my friends on Xbox play the Super Mario Mash-Up?” in former article “Nintendo Switch Technical Support FAQ”, which is now removed from Minecraft Help).
Since early March, I cannot search for one in Minecraft Help which would mean that Super Mario Mash-up Pack was platform-restricted (from "no-question-only-Different-Minecraft-Editions.png"), I was even confused for the mash-up pack being ready for cross-platform multiplayer because of that. To try that for yourselves, go to Minecraft Help, then search for “Mario” and try to look for one that has an answer that would mean the mash-up pack is platform restricted. The result should be nothing if not fixed. The only result would be "Different Minecraft Editions", but it does not have any disclaimer and is deceptive in my opinion as in WEB-6914.
To prove it’s Inconsistent between the timing in Minecraft Help and the game itself, In Release 1.20.81 of Minecraft in Nintendo Switch, when you either use the skin from Super Mario Mash-up Pack or attempt to use it's resource pack or the world, the game disables cross-platform multiplayer and prevents you from playing cross-platform multiplayer (and can only play in Nintendo Switch to Nintendo Switch multiplayer) if you equipped a skin from that mash-up pack.
The solution as a last resort is to create a way (i.e. by updating Different Minecraft Editions based of solution from WEB-6914 or creating another article) so players who want to choose one Edition of Minecraft would know that the Super Mario Mash-up Pack is currently platform restricted. Otherwise for better, please consider a solution from MCPE-181869

If the solution was by higher priority, considering MCPE-181869 (listed in previous comment), I think there should have a lot more time solving the way I said in MCPE-181869.
Otherwise if it was by performing the last resort (not the one considering MCPE-181869), it seemed fixed by having Different Minecraft Editions on Minecraft Help updated.
If the fix was by considering the solution from MCPE-181869 (by making the mash-up pack usable on cross-platform multiplayer if approved), this would also fix MCPE-180557. I hope this will be the case because I am still against the platform restriction in Super Mario Mash-up Pack and would be happier if it was made to cross-platform multiplayer.
This is apparent when you checked the video Minecraft – Super Mario Mash-Up Pack – Nintendo Switch, there was a footage at 0:33-0:35, that shown the mash-up pack was used by the game on Windows-styled operating system (hence the title bar, in red square), it might be secret build and cropped improperly but I (and possibly players) consider this as official / final build and hope to see it being a reality for us. hence solving by getting the mash-up pack usable on cross-platform multiplayer (considering MCPE-181869) would be the only solution.

For solution from MCPE-181869, the issue could be solved by having Mojang / Microsoft and Nintendo getting the license of the Super Mario Mash-up Pack updated, so the mash-up pack would be able to be used in cross-platform multiplayer, and so to have platform restriction removed.
