After xbox gamepass expiration nicknames gets broken and after microsoft account deletion the same situation. Nickname system needs to be fixed, and just clear these broken nicknames not a solve of the problem. Please make something with it, i think there is much of broken nicknames. Yes, i know that is a dublicate of WEB-5814, But I see you've forgotten that. I have a broken nicknames "SPONGE1888" after xbox gamepass expiration, and "pavel155". Please, dont close my bug report because its dublicate, do something with it.
upd:
Okay, I'm not so described the problem, just I wrote it many times and each time I became lazy to describe something, in the end did not notice how the problem is no longer the same, sorry. The thing is that I had this situation, on the account was the nickname “SPONGE1888” on this account was xbox gamepass for a month, this subscription ended and the nickname remained, everything seems to be normal. Then, when I bought xbox gamepass again (maybe it's important that I bought for a month” to my account with this nick, and changed this nick to pavel155. As I read on the internet, after 30 days after changing a nickname, the original owner of the nickname can get the nickname back, and after another 7 days the nickname becomes completely free and anyone can take it over. So, it's been over 70 days and I still can not put this nick (SPONGE1888), and I will not believe that it really someone took it before me, because I every day several times checked the availability of this nick and it is still not free. There is one moment, I bought a subscription on June 7, and the nick changed to another on the same day and if the subscription lasted 30 days, and the full release of the nick 37 days, it seems to me that the problem is that I changed the nick and during the time that went to his full release ran out of subscription and because of this something broke. Or there is another option, I forgot to mention that a few days after buying the subscription and changing my nickname I requested to delete my microsoft account. After deleting the account a month later, I don't remember, I re-registered the account and now I'm back and it turns out that the nick pavel155 is taken, although the associated account was deleted, which is very strange and I also don't believe that someone really took it before me. If you can't do anything special, try sending an email to mojang because I'm being ignored everywhere. Redisclose my problem if it's clear and this problem hasn't happened yet and release my nicknames somehow. Thanks

This is a fully another problem, that is not a dublicate! Ok in any case, two year have passed and nothing changed, why isn't anything happening? Just explain it to me please, because i dont understand why is no one going to fix this problem. TWO YEARS AND NOTHING, i cant understand it. Why is there a bug tracker for web services if a completely different bug is marked as a duplicate of another completely different bug? Do something, is that so hard?
If this is a different issue, can you rework the description to clearly describe the issue? Currently it's hard to understand what you are reporting.
Are you talking about people who've had the game via gamepass, that gamepass has then expired, so the name is still in use?
That isn't a bug as far as I know but if you clarify I can reopen the report if needed so Mojang can take a look.
I can't comment on the duration it takes to fix something as I don't work for Mojang. I'm just a community member helping out where I can

I'm going to experiment with all this soon, put a minecraft nickname on a new account with xbox subscription, change this nickname and then wait 30 days until the end of the subscription and check the availability of the nickname after some more time.
Please see WEB-5594 as we are tracking the issue there.
