'MC' project icon contains an opaque, white background in spite of being .PNG

Unlike other bug tracker projects, the MC project icon located at

• https://bugs.mojang.com/mc_icon.png

• https://report.bugs.mojang.com/rest/servicedesk/1/customer/viewport-resources/portal-logo/2/2

appears to be “.png” but does not have proper transparency.

When compared to other 3D icons of other projects such as

• WEB @ https://bugs.mojang.com/command_block_web_square.png

• BDS @ https://bugs.mojang.com/bds_icon.png

that have proper transparency, the MC project icon contains an opaque, white background.

Reproduction steps

• visit https://bugs.mojang.com/mc_icon.png (MC project) and save its icon on your system

• visit https://bugs.mojang.com/command_block_web_square.png (WEB project) and save its icon on your system

• compare both backgrounds of these two icons that you’ve just saved

• MC has an opaque, white background; WEB has proper transparency (i.e. no background)
