Skin and cape resources fail to load , version validation errors causing Java Edition to be unusable

Bug Phenomenon Description

After launching the latest official Minecraft Java Edition client, the user found that all previously bound licensed custom skin and cape failed to render, and the player character reverted to the default Steve appearance completely. Even after fully uninstalling the game, removing all residual files and reinstalling the official Java Edition, the issue persists. During the version resource download phase, the launcher interrupts the process directly, popping up the explicit error prompts "NO_SUCH_VERSION" and "Invalid version type".The game cannot complete the validation and download of core version files, and the skin and cape still cannot be displayed properly after forced launch.

When you reset the Minecraft Launcher it will unusuable.

Solve the Launcher’s problem: Change the DNS.

The Java problem will change and become:

Unable to locate the Java runtime.

and waited some times you can see your skin and cape.

You can open the Java Edition 26.3-snapshot-1, but you can’t open the 26.2

When you create new 26.2 Installations you can open it, but the Latest release is still can’t use.

And I changed the Latest release 26.2 to the other release. Then I changed it back. And now I can play the Java Edition.
