minecraft.net article layout is incompatible with Google Chrome expanded vertical tab strip

Changelog articles are incompatible with the Google Chrome vertical tab strip. The byline on the left side of the article gets shifted onto the first paragraph of body text. This problem occurs when tabs are displayed vertically and expanded. See the attached screenshots to compare how the article looks with tabs expanded versus collapsed.
