IF YOUR MINECRAFT CRASHES WHEN OFFLINE THEN READ THIS! This worked for me; go into settings>data usage>swipe over to WiFi>press wi-fi data usage>scroll down to Minecraft and click it>disable WiFi disabled and dataUsage disabled and enable background data. After that it should work fine. If not I guess you'll have to keep looking for a solution.

Me to. I've even updated to version 1.1.2 and it's still doing the same as 1.1. I have a OnePlus 3t. The game only starts up when I'm connected to WiFi. Even if I enable mobile data in game and then living the game connected to mobile data it still crashes. I don't know how a company can f**k up a game this much that costs a decent amount of money.
