it is not the cubemap ..... the cubemap is in environment and this problem is in "ui" neither are the six panoramas ... if not the _overlay panorama ...

I show them with an image.
in the image the part marked with blue is the one that works together with the one marked with red but without a doubt the one with red marking is the one with the bug and does not have functionality. please take this into account and take it seriously

that's right I just reported the same problem ..... that gray background or fog is panorama_overlay.png apparently it is not working. I start the problem from the village an pillage version and it remains until now ... I hope that they are made to be too ugly without the fog (panorama overlay.png). thanks for reporting this you also friends

That problem is not minecraft, but the samsung application detects hidden images that you have on the device, bone in "games". This only happens if you have textures in extracted form, that is, only in files or folders, I recommend that you compress your textures in the zip format and then change the zip format replacing it to the "mcpack" format if it is a texture, if it is an addon change it to "mcaddon" format

the file was changed and formatted but I don't understand why the function was removed ... it's the same thing that happened to the old minecraft gui. they still remain within the game files but they are no longer useful for nothing do they have a function ??? why not remove them but less the panorama_overlay.png please

In the images attached to the problem that I have notified shows how it looks now and how it looked before .... There are many people I know who have asked me why this is no longer and they have thought that it looks better with the panorama since gives a fog detail and is the appearance similar to that of Java Edition

I explain again
the panorama_overlay file in the "minecraft" application directory, assets /resourcespacks/vanilla/vanilla/textures/ui/panorama_overlay.png.
It is not that I can change it, but rather that the file is there without any function, previously the file did work and now the background of the beginning does not look good, as it was seen with that fog the background that gives the other panoramas (panorama_0 , panorama_1, etc) please fix it the file does not work and it is very useful for map creators like me please ... if they fix it they would fix a lot, because that gives a nice look to the textures
