Also happens on 1.11.1 very frustrating.

@Aspergian yes, i can confirm it is the case. Is it intended feature? Because it would be a shame if the answer is yes. I don;'t want to wait for 45 mins to make them hatch, when I can explore or build stuff instead.

I believe this is intended feature.

windows 10, 1.6.0, Gpu usage is %14 according to task manager

@Kyle Morley yeah, i realized. but it still doesn't work. I even changed some .tga files back to png files to see if it works. Do i need to use a special texture editor for tga files? I use paint.net and i only see enderman's regular texture when I open it, I don't know how to edit it properly so its eyes will glow. Can you help me if you know about this?

you can only throw it while raining or when you're in water.

No, Reporter's right. I also have same issue. It's not due to resource pack as previously (1.5.3) it was showing ears properly.

Also confirm. This is very annoying, I had 8 skeleton horses and they all despawned. Also dropped 1 leash item since they were leashed.

@@unknown It doesn't work, can you tell us exactly how is it done? It still affects the game when I am using a texture pack that doesn't alter horses' textures, so I doubt texture pack needs any update.

It isn't same as putting off a fire. That would also require splash potion harming grass or other plants, since they are "alive" too. But in the game code, they sre just blocks. So, your "bug report" makes no actual sense, since it's not a bug.
