I don’t understand what’s going on. I’ve been playing Minecraft on and off for a while and I recently got a pc and got the windows 10 version of Minecraft. I joined a friends world and they lived in a village with no villagers, they said the the villagers disappeared. We made a new world and played on it for quite a while, made a home for villagers and even managed to roll a mending one until one day we went online and there were no villagers which is so frustrating. Then again, we don’t wanna live in a world with no villagers and it happened again. Now this post is saying that I have to learn what a chunk boundary is and I have a 1 in 20 chance of a villager despawning for no reason??? The villagers have always been in village boundaries and near the bell. The latest case of this happening to me was I went to sleep, came back to the villagers beds and all 10+ of them were just gone.
Update to my previous comment on 1-5-21, I repopulated the villagers and just yesterday half of them disappeared. I went back on today and there were two left. I left the game and game back and they were all officially gone. RIP to my mending villager. Also my horse with diamond armor disappeared.
