Yes, the nintendo switch 13.0 update has fixed this issue. I thought it was only me for a time, then came back to this ticket and realized it's an official fix. Just so glad I can go back to my 1.14 worlds that have been saved and never used for the longest time. There was still quite a bit of crashing due to heavy lag spikes after my nintendo switch started booting up Minecraft again for the first time in almost 4 months, but it was temporary and was resolved after I disconnected and reconnected to my internet router. Thank you Mojang and Nintendo.

Does anyone know how to transfer a world from my Nintendo switch (which takes an hour to load) to my xbox Without paying for a realm..?

The game doesn't crash on my Nintendo Switch anymore, but it still takes a very long time to load. I removed around 38 out of 55 worlds that I didn't care about, and my storage space went from around 2GB to around 1.1GB, I'll keep you guys updated, for example, if the game loads faster at all, if I can exit/enter out of worlds normally or at least quicker than usual, and see if I crash at all.

Edit: The game was a little faster when it was loading, 5 minute black screen, and a 15 minute red screen, as opposed to the 10 minute black screen and the 30 minute red screen. So I guess that deleting some worlds would be a safe option if you can get in. (At least for a little while)

I've been checking on this issue daily for more than 3 months now... No fix, in fact, we haven't even heard anything related to the Nintendo Switch from Mojang lately, I'm starting to think that maybe Mojang won't actually fix Minecraft for switch. I'm sorry to say, but Minecraft for Nintendo Switch doesn't seem like its going to be fixed soon, However, the developers may actually fix the version, its just highly unlikely at this point... We believed that you guys, working at Mojang, specifically fixing bugs that need to be fixed, could actually, well, fix bugs. This bug literally prevents us from playing the game entirely, forcing us to spend the time to make a new account or spend the money for another platform in order to play our game again, basically costing us real money, for the price of all our worlds, just to be able to play again. I really hope the rest of you guys find a fix, I needed to get Minecraft for the xbox in order to just be able to play the game again. It just doesn't seem like Mojang cares about this anymore. :/

yeah... I agree... I switched to xbox because Minecraft for switch performs way worse than it originally is, and it was originally very bad, The performance on the Nintendo Switch isn't as great as the other platforms and the bug fixers and Mojang developers seem to just not care at all about the Nintendo Switch community :/

My game still crashes right before the red screen even shows up... other times it crashes right before the actual game fully launches. (being able to press "Play" on the menu screen) I tried this a few times (Restarting the system) and the wait time is still about 20-30 minutes long before the game crashes.

this bug affects profiles that have more than 300MB on their Nintendo Switch, and the wait time on the red Mojang screen continues to get longer the more you explore around your world or continue to expand on your Minecraft's storage in any way, until at around 2GB of storage, Minecraft on your switch is rendered completely unusable (at least for me)

Restarting the Nintendo Switch doesn't necessarily work, its basically just turning the switch off and back on. Restarting the switch doesn't clear data from the game either. (which is what causes this issue)

I'm not going to delete all my worlds, I have about 50 of them, 10 of which I really care about. But I'm waiting for Mojang to fix the bug, (because I know they can, since they've done it before in the 1.16.0 update) and I will only delete all of my worlds as a last resort, meaning that Mojang isn't able to fix the bug.

I have 2GB of storage on my Nintendo Switch and I was looking forward to deleting some of it, but I crash every time I try to launch the game making the game unplayable. Please fix this bug Mojang.

This happens a lot to me too

Nintendo Switch, but my friend on pc claims to have this problem too

I added a screenshot to this issue to confirm by Mojang themselves ("Official Minecraft Wiki") that this isn't a bug but in fact intended behavior for llamas.

I also recommend searching on the internet. For example: search up "do llamas follow other llamas in Minecraft?" on google and see what appears. For me, it said the following "Leading. Llamas * do not accept saddles, so the player can't control one's movement, even when tamed. Thus, leads are the best way to move *llamas. Leading a llama (with a lead) actually signals up to ten nearby llamas (both tamed and untamed) to follow each other, forming a caravan.

thats intended behavior for llamas, they follow other llamas attached to leads, whether the leads are attached to a fence post or any entity (including a wandering trader or player)

this isn't a bug, and we don't know if you set it up or this is just random coincidence involving some loose trader llamas with some other trader llamas with a wandering trader, and we don't necessarily know if you spawned these llamas beside the wandering trader (by spawning, I mean spawned another wandering trader and killed the trader itself, but not the llamas, then set the loose llamas with another wandering trader). I also play on Nintendo Switch and I have encountered this a few times, but I don't consider this a bug because it is intended for llamas to follow other llamas on leads. And the llamas in the picture aren't attached to any leads whatsoever, so all we can assume is that the llamas were set there or its just intended llama behavior. Also, I think this is an invalid report, as this does not contain much information on the bug and that all llamas follow other llamas on leads, making this basically intended behavior. Also, were all 4 llamas attached to leads being held by the wandering trader? (Just asking, but I don't see any wandering traders in this picture nor do I see any leads..)

this is because you either placed the torch too quickly or placed the gravel on the torch, gravel can only be destroyed by a torch if it is falling from at least 2 blocks above the torch. Either that or the RandomTickSpeed is set higher than normal (making every mob, player, and block take a little while to update, depending on how high the RandomTickSpeed is, but either way the gravel will get destroyed by the torch, it just takes a while when the tickspeed is set higher than 10) Also, This isn't necessarily a bug, its just that the torch was placed fast enough for the gravel to not update.

all Mojang needs to do to fix this is just make it so music discs appear directly on top of jukeboxes upon ejection

the same thing also occurs when books are removed from lecterns, I was working on a rickroll book and put it on a lectern, I accidentally punched the lectern and my book disappeared, it appeared on the surface, but there was a lot of air blocks around my lectern..
