Finally, the most recent update (1.19.2)[Bug fix update] fixed my problems on both devices!!! Thank you Mojang!
Its been almost a month, and they have not fixed this yet. I run on IPad air’s and they both seem to have issues.
Adding to the issue
My cousin (an adult who doesn't have an account for the forms) is experiencing this issue. I had happened to him twice and the bug seems to be a loading issue with the inventory. Just now, he had lost all his items while coming back to play. He obviously was pissed, trying to recraft what was lost until he raged quit. He loads back in a 2nd time after a minute just to get his stuff back (The previous session with me) with the items he just crafted completely gone, and when I mean gone, the chest that had the materials that he crafted with were missing too. Since he hosts his world locally and it is his world, we've come to a conclusion it is a load sync issue. It's just a guess but seeing his blocks still there and his inventory reset, we think its a World/Inventory Loading Sync Issue.
