For me this helped the problem in Minecraft for windows 10
Make copy of the world's folder in which you have this problem. (Later this copy is called "Problem world"
Make a new world with same seed as the problem world. Make sure you're using same generation settings as the problem world (world type: infinite, flat or old and structures on etc.)
Make sure the terrain really looks the same in a new generated world that was in your problem world then save the new world and quit Minecraft
Go to your new worlds folder and copy the level.dat file
Go and delete the level.dat file from your problem worlds folder and paste the new one in
