Same for me. Why didn't the developers pay attention to the code?
What I'm also noticing is that the sky is that of the overworld rather than just a plain solid dark color. This is really looking completely too odd.

Well, I do, except for the fact that I did not find any spawn eggs for fish nor fish in the ocean. Also, I am seeing 1.2.14 also has other features rather than the fish, but they're also not included for whatever reason. Most likely they forgot to add them.
As of 1.4, the bug is now affecting gameplay within Creative mode. Should you ever be concerned, I would appreciate the Mojang developers to help fix the bug within the next release.
