I have the same issue, all of my players are experiencing terrible lag.
I have the same issue, since 1.16 (nether update) there's a lot of input lag. Sometimes it just disappeared when I updated, but a few patches later it returned. Now it's been like half a year and haven't disappeared yet. I don't know much of these things, but here's an image. Hope it's helpful.
