Try deactivating AntiVirus before clicking play, then it should start. At least it worked for me with Avast. (Deactivating it for 10 mins then it would activate and the game would keep working fine)

Here is a copy of the email i received from Mojang help :

" This issue may also be caused by an outdated or incompatible version of Java. Please uninstall Java through your computer's control panel, and then go to https://java.com/download/ to download the latest version.

If your issues should persist, please follow the steps below:

• Update your video card drivers. For information regarding how to do so, visit https://help.mojang.com/customer/portal/articles/928493

• Try temporarily disabling your antivirus/firewall software

• Log completely out of the Minecraft launcher (click on your username or email address -> click "Log Out" -> log back in)

• Try running Minecraft as an administrator (right click the game on your desktop and select "Run as Administrator")

• Disable or uninstall any mods or third party software you have enabled

• If you are using an older version of Minecraft, please make sure to switch to the latest version "

Hi, exact same thing here on Windows 7, i heard about graphic drivers, i tried to reinstall latest version without 3D Vision (382.05), then i found an update from Nvidia itself, but it was an older version than mine (378.57), tried it, it didnt change much. So i'm guessing it's another issue. Minecraft game output says the same as shown previously. Any idea?
