I did a test on a single player world, this isn't really related to this but other mobs can spawn inside the bounding box too, just witches spawn more often

confirmed for 1.8.1-pre2, haven't found one in pre 3 yet
Witches still spawn in my farm as it isn't that far from what it would be normally but still spawns other mobs on the platform.
this bug is really annoying.

You can't craft saddles, you have to find them in dungeon, stronghold, mineshaft or nether fortress chests.

EDIT- and now all my cows are gone too.

This seems to be happening in the latest snapshot on my server. We are cruel and keep all of our animals in 1x1x2 holes and I went back to spawn after updating to the latest snapshot and after a while the just disappeared.
The sam happened at my house and I am the only one who knows where that is.

but if you add sharpness v to a wooden hoe it does the same as a diamond sword, so then you have a diamond sword made out of wood that lasts forever.

On my survival world I stole an iron golem from a nearby village and have 2 horses, whenever i go wandering and come back they leads pop off and float on the ground, but they do not despawn. On my server how ever my friend found a horse, saddle and horse armour at a village and he was riding around and then he suffocated in a wall(he was standing next to a house he was making that had no roof and every thing he had despawned on the spot, horse and all.
