I also had this problem. For me the workaround was:

1. Turn off auto update.

2. Quit application.

3. Delete everything in ...\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\minecraftpe

4. Restart application

5. Go to market and the download button is back!
