I'm playing only in singleplayer mode, and I'm having the problem mostly when moving by boat. When I walk, the rendering seems to be ok (although chunks are loaded more slowly then before version 1.4). But the higher speed with the boat seems to confuse the order in which chunks are rendered. So sometimes distant areas are already visible, while close chunk surfaces get only visible just before I move on them.
