Then tell us why it worked perfectly with no lags at all in 1.8, and it's awful in 1.9.
I don't know if it's relative to this issue : MC-94438. However server lag is a massive issue in 1.9. My server log is also spammed by this "Keeping entities".

"Works as intended" means that it's a feature. "Won't fix" means that's it's not necessary wanted like this but it will stay like it is.
At least on my mind.
Anyway, I've found a way to make an enderfarm with a very high spawning rate in 1.8 snaphots (no pressure plates and no endermites).
Seriously, more than a half of the most involved players use farms to improve their gaming experience (mostly youtubers : the two last comments justify it).
If there is a good reason to upset those players, can we know about it ?
Please make it a bug instead of a feature. It would be so please from you. This typical behaviour is really usefull.
There is also big lag issues with collisions in 1.9. When several entites collide in a 1*1 spot, it generates a lots of lags. Ref : MC-100692
