It's not a pointless test, Kumasasa. Even if the new libraries are required some of us don't have very fast computers and need to downgrade.
I see, my bad, but couldn't they just move it?
It's resolved as "Invalid", in other words they don't seem to give a damn about this issue, and it's considerably important.
Don't worry. Just use Optifine for the time being until they find a real solution.
One of them said that it uses the crappy integrated graphics instead of the gaming graphics, and I don't understand how this could have changed over one update.

Telling me "get a better computer" isn't gonna solve the problem. It's not my fault my laptop's the only good computer in my household!
This isn't a duplicate. At all. It's because of the Resource Pack system, not the launcher.
The launcher, actually, isn't causing the lag. I think it's A: The dependency on the launcher, or B: The new Resource Pack system.
@Kumasasa Nobody needs that amount but a constant framerate that drops rather proves their point.
