Omg thank you Hunter Higginson! I deleted all my save files and the game too then proceeded to start a brand new world...explored 7 or 8 biomes by myself and it popped getting me the platinum. Thanks.

I've had Adventuring Time glitch on me aswell, I've explored at least 25 biomes in my world on PS4 and it has not been unlocking. It is preventing me from getting the platinum.
Same problem here, updated a world from 20w20b to 20w21a and my guardian farm is dead. Note that guardians don't spawn in any of the ocean monuments I have found in this world. This applies to both versions of the world I run (survival and creative).
Generating a new world with the same seed spawns guardians normally.
Loaded an even older world and it has the same issue, guardians don't spawn. This doesn't seem like an isolated problem.
