if you don't want your console to freeze for a few minutes and just want to play the game then i suggest you log out your microsoft account cause whenever i get logged out (because of crappy wifi range) and closed the game it never freezes
same here it does freeze the console when closed but for a few minutes, and when i'm automatically logged out to my microsoft account (because of crappy wifi range) and closed the game it doesn't freeze so in the mean time if you don't want your switch to freeze and just want to play the game then i suggest you log out your microsoft account (plus whenever i get logged out, i have to sign in my account all over again! so in my opinion i'd rather have my switch frozen for a few minutes than me signing in my account all over again)

I'm only experiencing this issue specifically to minecraft. I have no problems signing in to my account to other devices/services. Its really annoying having to resign-in everytime it disconnects from the Minecraft server.
