The vines did not move a block, they simply moved to the opposite side of the same block, making them appear to be floating one block away from the tree. I can place vines on east/west surfaces just fine, but preexisting vines on east-west surfaces have shifted position.
My vines moved as well. I live in a swamp and have a jungle nearby and all the vines on the east sides and west sides of the trees have moved out one block from where they were and are now floating. Vines on the north or south-facing surfaces of the trees have not moved out. Using 1.8.2 pre 4.
Confirmed. I see the game for a split second and then it crashes and blames item frames.
@@unknown I never said it was only on older worlds.
@@unknown Just helping the issue get a little more visibility by adding a comment, if adding a comment does indeed do that.
Confirmed. Due to bug MC-45826, all item frames popped off the wall when an older world was updated to 14w04b. When I attempted to replace the maps, the item frames enlarged but the maps were not displayed.
I think this is what happened to me. I loaded up my world in 14w04b and literally every item frame and painting in my entire world was gone. A small percentage of them had dropped as items, but I was very distraught because I lost several clocks, maps and paintings which either did not drop or decayed before I got to them.
The fortress was generated in 1.5.2. There are no wither skeletons to be found in 1.6.2. I visited the area in 1.6.1.
