Now i have you here, can you answere, who is responsible for the deleting of text end to line, inside the client, Bukkit or Mojang? Something that showed up, at the release of 1.6.2 version, and it seems Mojang brougt a fix for it later, in form of a patch , but it did not help.
I an kinda frustrated about this constant deletion and want to follow it up.
ok I cannot reproduce crash on demand, but i can turn back later.
It seems to be the output i got at the crash from client, but the mpserver its referring to, is not from this event, so i don't know why it is mentioned here. The crash did not happen upon a logout from anything, but a pure startup of the client program. So what it lists in the report is something it has sniffed up.
It should be this one.
What server? The client starting up is not connected to any server. It crashed before i even could see the "Multiplayer" button.
OK. But the client can be used for vanilla servers, and i thought this could be to any help. i have noticed frustrating manner in the client lately, text lines getting deleted upon writing, etc. But this crashing is mojangs client given out for connecting to vanilla servers, disregarding what kind of servers i prefer to connect up to. . If you prefer to dismiss this opputunity to find and correct an error, becasue the client "can" be used for other behavior like modded servers, i just find it sad.
How do you know what kind of server i was going to connect to? what if i have a list of vanilla servers? The client didn't even reach to bring the list up, before it crashed.
This client has nothing to do with acting as server. It is made by mojang.
Well, the client crashed, which was started from same pc as the MC server running at. Usually doesnt mean a thing for me, since its 8 core 3ghz. cpu, 24 GB mem.
The client is not modded at all, but a texturepack at 64bit.
All the servers plugins.
Haha, just about more than 60 plugins!
Wether was corrected after relogging, somehow yes. But, the client does often crash by using worldedit. Environment is not on LAN, but public server, multiplayer. The last year, it has been very important to not be residing inside the area selection while doing anything, else it means a crash.
But this incident was above surface 1 block, and does normally not dc anyone working with worldedit. I was not residing in the selected area, but 5 blocks away from it. Sometimes the operators and I, are getting bad data compressed format too, followed by disconnection. This is not a ping issue, since we have a plugin to kick above a certain amount of ms.
you want the plugins list?
It looks very similar to my experience. I know, it has always been possible to use SHIFT button to delete hole worlds, but this starts where the program icon starts flashing ( i always play with the taskbar line open at bottom), then the text input in chat starts getting deleted several times, up to 5 times or so, with a few seconds pause between. Any attempt to drag items out of inventory, or from selectin menu into action bar, might be reset also if trying this
