That's correct! I have been experiencing this since last year, and even asking PSN Support to do an ID Change back, it didn't work.
What do you mean by "despawning"?
I just either dig a hole and put on a roof so they wont get burned to death or build like a "jail" type of place and leave them there, however, when I go to sleep and wake up they are no longer there.
I have filed a request to support but my account still hasn't been unlinked.
same! i was so excited to play after having my lunch when this issue suddenly came up. :'( I hope they notice this issue ASAP. I want to get back in my friend's realm and in my world.
yup.happens to me today (iOS). I was in a realm when suddenly the game froze and I have to force quit the app every time.

My account broke because I decided to change my PSN name. Then I thought it could that, so I contacted PSN Support what was very friendly to revert my username, but still didn't work. Only workaround that "worked" was to create a new PSN account to play.
