This happened to me on a Preview Version 1.21.80 (can't remember exact build and I've updated the application). I broke a chest with bundles that were filled with items. When the chest broke, the bundles were all empty, effectively deleting the items.
This issue also occurs on Preview 1.21.90.20

After disabling Vsync the resource utilization behaves as expected.

Both using Wind Burst 3 enchanted Maces, you can see that in the Bedrock Edition footage the Mace launches the player roughly 14 blocks, while in the Java Edition Footage the Mace launches the player roughly 24 blocks.

I am using Windows 11 in the captured footage and screenshot.
The outcome is different every time I load the world.
This has happened to me on several different versions of preview using vibrant visuals:
