hey, i had the same problem yesterday.

Mojang has probably updated the launcher and with no purpose made it incompatible with some PCs. 

Here is what I have done: 

  • I reestablished my pc twice, but i ditn't solve the problem. 

  • I thought about using another launcher (Tlauncher) which actually work and now I can play again.

  • It could be related to JAVA so before changing launcher, try downloading updates it.
