This has been happening to me as well. I have been actively playing Minecraft for the past few months and in my main survival world I live in a village and rarely leave it, however I have not seen a single child villager or a child zombie villager EVER, and I was really looking forward to those. I have created a world and all the villagers have died in accidents like a zombie catching one of them while I'm away and the iron golem is in the other side of the village (another issue - I have never seen an iron golem spawn in a village even if they're massive), and one by one they have all died 😞 Then when 1.4 came out I thought maybe this has been fixed, so I have re-created the world and started to live in the exact same village as before. I have made another iron golem, but still one by one they have all died 😞
I really want to see this issue fixed as it is really discouraging from starting a new adventure in Minecraft :'(
