SWEET I'm not the only person who suffers from this
For me it's been going on since at least January. It's affected my ability to complete parkour. I live for parkour. It's one of the things I love most about Minecraft. And since sprinting barely works for me, I can't enjoy it. It sucks.
Oh it also affects Creative and Adventure
The issue has been fixed as of 1.17.1.
Why do I feel like it's gotten worse
this bug has been in the game since november
I am having exactly the same problem. This is very annoying. Almost as annoying as 1.16.20.
Fortunately I don't have it as bad. But the fact that people have it worse makes me feel uh not good.
The freezes have happened while I was putting messages in chat, but those were temporary.
Still occurs for me. It seems to be more of an issue with Joycon drift than the game, but the fact that the sprint feature is completely negated by it is ridiculous.
