We've been having a similar issue on our Realms server we've recently made. We started the trial because it sounded like a cool investment to play with our friends. Two of us play from the Xbox One, of us plays from Windows 10, while the 4th plays on one or the other sometimes. We've noticed horses and llamas frequently disappearing after the Realm resets or when anyone logs on. Usually the animals disappearing are fully armored, saddled, or dressed. But their offspring also disappears. Its only effected llamas and horses most apparently, though a few cows have gone missing too. The animals are all in smallish pens made with fencing (smaller or exactly the recommended size) and sometimes partially covered. They all had grass and water blocks and there is never more than 4 animals to a pen. The pens are also spaces out with wide paths between them, but the animals still disappear. We've lost at least two fully armored and saddled horses and at least two horses with just saddles and a baby. As well as 6+ dressed llamas and babies, both fenced in and tied to posts.
We really hope it gets resolved. We don't want to pay for something if all our hard work just gets dumped at the end of the day.
