I'm the guy that showed the screenshot to the reporter. Walls until 1.15 had only 'true' and 'false' blockstates; but on 1.16 they got 'none', 'tall' and 'low', so if your pack modifies walls blockstates (to make texture variants, as in my case) it will show like this.
