I feel like these bugs aren't seperate at all, they both are related to resource packs, and both cause freezing. Sure, I worded them like seperate bugs, but they could entirely be the same bug.

This bug has been around for a LONG time.
I did...but then I stopped. It hasn't happened since I stopped using it. Any particular xray mod that causes it?
The first 3 files are of the pumpkin farm. The first shows the farm normally and deactivated. The second shows the farm stripped down. The third shows the farm stripped down and activated. The last picture is the untouched interior of my skeleton grinder. This is not the one mentioned in the description, this one is in my current world with the pumpkin farm. I haven't been anywhere near it since 1.4, but when I went to grind today, I walked in and everything was gone. I hadn't hit any buttons, and there were no water leaks. For some reason, the torches that used to be in there were gone as well.

I had a similar issue where I could not connect to any minecraft-related server including dungeons. It turns out it was an issue with the ‘intel killer performance suite’. I went into task manager and force ended any tasks with ‘killer' in the name and it immediately connected again. I then went and uninstalled anything related to it in apps and programs. Check if you have the same useless software on your PC and try closing it / uninstalling it.
