The ice bomb from education edition does not work on BDS and possibly on normal bedrock edition minecraft.
When thrown, the ice bomb stops mid-air and no longer moves. I believe it disappears over time but I /killed it because it was taking too long. In any case, it does not disappear if you place blocks at it's current position, effectively "suffocating" it. Attached is a screenshot of the icebomb stuck mid-air
