Had a world with severe lag, assumed it was due to placing command blocks for teleporting purposes, but it also lags in a brand new world. I have "Show Autosave Icon" selected but it still doesnt show the icon ever, but it lags out at regular intervals, so I assume its when the game is autosaving. When I save and quit, it takes a long time to save there as well.
Players on Xbox in my world also experience the lag spikes.

This is not the same problem. This was happening WELL before 1.18 dropped.
Also using the search function doesnt help me if the topic you say i duplicated was posted AFTER mine was.
