Villagers move through non solid blocks at head level

Villagers will move through transparent blocks at head level of there is air underneath it. This can be recreated by placing a villager in a 1x1 square with leafs surrounding it at head level. The villager will walk through the block. This can also be recreated by placing a baby villager in a hole next to a bed with glass directly over it. The baby villager will walk through both glass blocks that are over the bed

Their hitboxes may be clipping into the block, causing them to "be inside the block" similarly to how you can exit a wall you are stuck in.

ย

I would assume it's something with the hit boxes, since the children can jump onto a bed with glass covering it and walk through it.ย

It seems most mobs can glitch through blocks. Have had drowned glitching through a gravel wall to attack, hoglins hiding fully inside blocks and attacking as you walk by and numerous other instances of mobs being where they shouldn't.
Feels like a server-authoritative-movement issue for mobs.

Is this only happening on a Dedicated Server, realms, multiplayer or singleplayer? What plaform/device are you using?

This was on a dedicated server, it happened while I was playing on an Android phone and while playing on an Xbox 1
