Can't craft some items!

I can't craft some wooden items after update my server from 1.19.31.04 to 1.19.40.02. I play on a server from a Windows 10 laptop.

For example: I can't craft stick! I have Spruce Planks but I can't use them. Check my screenshots!

Same thing with chests!

Can confirm I am having the same issue after updating server. Also cannot craft regular torches.

Is this only happening on a Dedicated Server, Featured Server, realms or multiplayer? This ticket will automatically reopen when you reply.

It is happening on a Dedicated Server which I dowloaded from [Minecraft Bedrock Server Download | Minecraft|https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/download/server/bedrock]

On single player is normal work craft. I don't know how happaning this on realms and multiplayer (multiplayer I can check later and comment )

android has this issue plus another one.

  1. on survival mode with bedrock server, stick can only be made by Mangrove Planks based on the recipy. I haven't tried finding Mangrove yet to test.

  2. on creative mode without server, only one the first world using planks gets funky while adding the ingredients. I added 2 planks on 1,1 and 2,1 on 4x4 recipy box and I couldn't remove those planks, stick showed up but it i couldn't add it to the inventory. Clicked the stick then click the inventory bar at the bottom, stick blinks and nothing changes. - reloading the world fixed the issue in,  when 2nd world was created there were no issues in creative mode.

  3. will check on windows and report back.

This is a major issue!

We need sticks!

After changing the server into creative mode and testing all wood types, I found I can create crafting tables with the following wood types only: Mangrove, Crimson, and Warped

I'm happy to give you logs or any other data you need.

I was able to resolve it by a fresh copy of the server files and was able to use the existing world.

Problem resolved! Thanks for linking to other comments (BDS-17803). I want to tell you how I solved this problem. I also want to ask the developers a question.

Question: Why was the download link for BDS version 1.19.41.01 attached for Windows (https://minecraft.azureedge.net/bin-win/bedrock-server-1.19.41.01.zip), while for Linux it remained the same 1.19.40.02 (https://minecraft.azureedge.net/bin-linux/bedrock-server-1.19.40.02.zip). I thought that it was 1.19.41 version that would solve this problem and hoped that it would be posted for Linux. Fortunately, the problem is solved without the need to install a new version of BDS.

How did I solve this bug with the crafting of some wooden items?

First, I downloaded the 1.19.40.02 version again and unpacked it in a new folder. Then I copied from the old folder with broken minecraft (where sticks, crafting table were not crafted...) the necessary files and folders (server.propersties , allowlist.json, valid_known_packs.json, worlds and one addon from the behavior_packs folder). And then just started the server. And when I entered the server, I could already craft sticks and crafting table!

I think a lot of people did the same as me. If you couldn't fix the crafts, then do the same as I did.

Previously, it was already written that the crafting of items cannot be repaired if you simply replace the executable files.

I'm running 1.19.40.02 on Ubuntu Linux. This bug exists even on net-new worlds, not just existing ones.

The issue I am having is not related to BDS-6230. It is impacting brand new worlds created only on 1.19.40.2. These servers are not just copying executables.
