[BDS-18663] When in Creative, and have elytra equipped, hold space while flying will make you shoot up.

So , if you equip a elytra in creative while gliding around, instead of the space bar toggling on and off, it will make you fly up at insane speeds, from Y = 0 to Y = 100 in about 6 seconds. Its really silly goofy.

Holding the space bar is supposed to make the player fly up, see MCPE-30816. Double tapping the space bar should disable elytra flight, but this does not work correctly in the current release. This issue is tracked at MCPE-171797 and will be fixed in 1.20.30.
