I tried to join a public server like I usually do, but an error message kept coming up. This also happened when I tried to open the Marketplace. I restarted my Nintendo Switch, logged out of Minecraft, but nothing has worked. Right before this issue occurred, my Nintendo Switch asked me to update the game. I believe that might be the cause of the issue.
