'Version not supported' error happening when it should not

Logged on today to find Minecraft Bedrock on PC had an updated and I couldn’t play on my group’s server. My friend then downloaded the new server version and moved our world into the new server’s files. Afterwards, he was able to successfully connect VIA LAN on his PS5. However, the rest of our group has been unsuccessful in connecting remotely (VIA PC and Nintendo Switch), still receiving the “Version not supported” error even though we triple checked being on the correct version.
