Riding is very unstable on riding entity or mobs (boat,horse,nautilus etc.). However, it is far better on single player, on multiplayer, every player on the powerful server experiences the same issue.
The old versions’ riding were far smoother.
Environment
It has made the game far less enjoyable according to the issues as a minecraft player since 2010
