I have had trouble when joining a specific friend on his world. I can join fine but the world very quickly begins to lag so that there’s no breaking animations on the blocks, the blocks disappear when mined and only reappear when the game ‘catches up’ to me. My player model stays in one place for everyone but me, where I can walk around and place/break blocks (until the game catches up). What I mean when I say that the world ‘catches up’ is that my player model teleports over to me, where my camera said I was, for me. Mobs are able to kill my player model whilst in this phase of lagging and it has happened with me not being able to do anything to prevent it. This happens every time that I join his world and his only, I can join others fine. Note that I have also had no luck being able to let friends join me in anyway on Bedrock edition. I have previously changed my PlayStation username and believe that may be a reason as to why. These issues have made my experience significantly less enjoyable and makes it very annoying to play with this friend as he is one of the only friends that plays minecraft with me often. I have struggled to find any other people with a similar issue so I know it’s unlikely to be fixed or to be a fixable problem as it will most likely not be of a high priority to fix. Thanks

This project is for the Bedrock Dedicated Server software only. Use one of the links below to go to the correct project.

– Minecraft: Bedrock Edition — Gear VR, iOS, Android, Windows 10 (from the Windows store), Xbox One, Windows 10 Mobile, Fire TV, Nintendo Switch, and PS4
– Minecraft: Earth — AR Compatible Devices
– Realms Plus — Minecraft Realms for Java and Bedrock
Please also note, this looks to be a tech support issue rather than a bug, because its happening for you alone this would (in theory) point to an environmental issue on your end, that could include a poor connection to the person hosting the world. This can be caused by any number of things including your ISP etc.
