[BDS-6597] Can't connect to certain friends

Trying to play bedrock edition on ps4 with my buddy.Both of our nat types are good, no issues if we go to the older version. Both of us have ps4, have no issues with anyone else connecting. Seriously lost on what else to do besides weird rituals and chanting. Send help.

If you have updated the PS4 game versions but are unable to connect, this suggests that the Bedrock Dedicated Server software has not been updated. Please can you verify if it has been updated?
If you have updated it please can you share the operating system that BDS is installed upon?
