Can't connect with friends on PlayStation

I am also having this problem the only way around it is to go over and play at my friends house. LAN parties are fun but I would like to not have to move my PS4 every day I want to play.

Update: Both PS4's have type 2 NAT, we both have accounts linked to Microsoft accounts, we can play when both on the same Wifi or Hardwired to the same router but if we run one on an extended network or a completely different network it does not work we only receive the unable to connect to world.

I'm having the same issue I have 2 friends that can play with each other but can't join me and I can't join them, my internet is acceptable, I have a Microsoft account, we're all on PS4, I've reinstalled the game three times and nothing is working. It has been over 2 months since I've been able to play with anyone since the bedrock edition went live.

Is this even being attempted to be resolved?   

I'm having this issue as well. i wanted to connect to a friend, I couldn't, I'm trying to connect to my Girlfriend's game and I can't do that either. When is a fix coming out? This is one of the biggest games all over the world especially for multiplayer, you can't leave literally millions of people hanging! 

Update: In a weird twist of events, my GF and I managed to connect with me on Windows 10 and her on PS4. in the meantime another friend of mine and I have been able to connect Win 10 - Win 10 seamlessly these past two days. Meaning the glitch seems to be isolated to PS4 - PS4. Kind of annoying, given that I pay for PS Plus, and I paid for the PS4 game but not Win 10 (Got it for free bc I had Java back when Win 10 came out)

Please tell us you have a gameplan at least. Not just "aware and working on it." a tentative deadline that might (obviously, because shift happens) change would be a lot better than what we're getting now. 

I have also this problem. I play on ps4 and since the upgrade to Bedrock Edition, there is a friend (also on ps4) with whom I can't play multiplayer. I manage to join the world of all my other friends (also on ps4), but if I try to join his game (or vice versa), the game displays a message saying that I can't connect to his world. We can't connect to a third friend's world (ps4) at the same time either, but we can join his game separately, and he can join each other's game.
We have the same NAT type (2), and we've tried a lot of possible solutions like deleting each other from our friends lists and then adding each other again, getting invited into the game by another player, disabling cross-play... Nothing solves the problem, which is quite annoying because we haven't been able to play together for months now.

My friend on ps4 can connect to my world on pc, but I can't connect to his PS4 world from pc bedrock or mobile versions of the game.

It is so frustrating. Me and a friend bought the game back in january just to play together and this stupid bug doesn't allow us do it. We basically gave our money to Mojang in exchange for nothing. 👎😞

Come on guys, at least give us something. When is this issue going to get fixed? Next week? Next month?

In 3 months Mojang didn't do anything.

I'm not expecting a fix soon but can you please say if you have at least considered it ? 

I have the same problem. I can see my friend in Minecraft Windows 10 created the world, but I can't do it. The message "You can't start with the world" appears. It's the same when I create the world in the minecraft ps4 edition. Everything happens identically.

I just bought ps4 edition, and guess what ? I can not play with my friends. Fix this issue, looking for a solution since 6 hours.

I have ps plus, rebooted router, got NAT2, reinstaled MC, daleted all data from ps4. 

I'm having the same problem. I can't play with any of my friends and we all have the same NAT (type 2). But the problem is not NAT since they can play together.

I am no expert on these issues, but I wonder if you could temporarily work around this bug by switching to NAT1? Although @Lorenzo Sollini reports that friends with NAT2 have no problem, maybe there are some more specific settings that would be cleared by switching to NAT1. (reference) 

I think there is another way to bypass this bug: instead of inviting your friend, set your world multiplayer options to "open to friends", have your friend go to the "friends" tab on his PS4 and tell him/her to click your world in said tab

This was reported back in December and is still not resolved!!! I have a friend who I cannot play with as they only have the new version! I have added them on everything possible made my account public and tried inviting multiple way! It’s 100% disappointing that it has taken them this long to try and resolve this issue! Everytime my friend and I try to play together in 1 world, we get the "Cannot connect to the world" error/bug/problem, we play both on PS4 (and a running PS+ subscription), added each other as friends, both got the most recent update for Minecraft (as of 6 of april 2020) and the console itself, both have good working internet, and it still won't let us play together.

I have seen many people suffering from the same issue, but never a response on how to truly fix it. We truly don't know what to do. Can you help us out?

I have been experiencing the same issue. I’ve tried to bypass this bug but nothing works. I literally try to join my friend’s worlds and they try to join mine every day hoping this will be fixed, but obviously has never worked. There’s so many

Me and my friend bought Minecraft on the ps4 particularly to play with eachother, but we have the exact same problem.. What’s strange is that we tried it with a third person, which worked? This has definitely been a long time issue even before PS4 got on Bedrock Edition. Connecting cross platform to and from any device doesnt always work. The only way that I have found to connect 100% of the time is invitations to a Realm or on LAN (Same Network).

I have the same problem since the Bedrock update. I contacted the support 2-3 times and wrote 2 Bug reports here and never get an answer. I tried to inform me elsewhere and found out nearly every ps4 player has the problem and mojang seems to doesn‘t care about it. It nearly has been a half year since this bug and they aren’t able to fix! I paid for full Minecraft and can’t use it and I paid for ps+ and I can’t use it. Fix this!!!

Its been 137 days is Mojang planning to fix this?

You say you are in beta 1.16.0.60, but the Beta Program is unavailablefor PS4 players (currently only Windows 10, Android and XBox One). It's normal you connot connect with your friends in THEY are in the beta and not you.

I am currently hosting both JAVA and Bedrock server on a PC (Win 10) However most users can connect across platform, but my friends on PS4 cannot connect to the server. I assume this is the closest thread to post this, i have also invited him from my minecraft on my laptop, but unable to connect, and he invited me - unable to connect...
He wants to connect to our group server but cannot find any information that actually works...

I hope they fixed it with this Nether Update...

I'm still having this issue even after the update. Not sure whether it's only me or not.

it's been 4 months since me and my friend bought this game just to play with each other and even after the nether update we still can't, disappointed we just bought this game for "unable to connect to world".

I made a bug issue for a problem like this. people could not join my worlds for a long period of time and only could get tin once then if they left or were kicked for whatever reason, they could not get back in. however this is only a problem that I've really had on 1.16 update, sure there were a few times when it happened in older ps4 bedrock updates but this be is significantly worse and I have done everything in my power to fix it. the ones submitting now are most likely a new bug with a similar issue. i think this is more of a ps4 bedrock specific bug and needs to be looked into separately and comparatively to this bug. and this one is a lot worse than the previous.

Are you both on the same update? Once I tried connecting to my friend and I couldn't connect because I was on 1.14.60 and my friend was on 1.14.30 or something like that. If your friend is one a different update, you guys cannot connect to each others worlds. Also was your friend also on bedrock edition? If your friend is still on playstation 4 edition you guys can't connect.

• We tried both turning off enable cross platform play and un-linking our Microsoft accounts so that we would force it to go through PS4 's friends, this did not work

• My sister created a new Microsoft account and we both logged in and synced our mine craft with out Microsoft accounts and re-enabled cross platform play - after reinstalling the game - this did not work still.

• So we then removed each other as PSN friends - re-added each other as friends and both restored PS4 licenses and this did not work either

• We then added each other on Microsoft accounts as friends as well, this then shows i can send an invite to her PS4 account and the Microsoft account, which we tried sending via just PS4 invite, then just the Microsoft invite, then one invite to both at the same time. 

• Lastly we did all of the above again this time with removing all custom skins, and then did all of the above this time trying to join a newly created (empty) world 

Either way we were not able to connect no matter what i tried (I've tried other basic things with my router and other combinations of things such as using LAN cables instead, restarting, uninstalling and trying again, joining through the mine craft - friends section after selecting PLAY,

We also tried creating a playstation party and then selecting join session

Also tried closing the game and accepting the invite so that the invite then opened the game

This is literally a crucial element of a multiplayer PS4 game, how has this been open for 7 months and nothing has been said to the community?

Can we actually get feedback here please? Twitter Mojang support is literally just a copy and paste reply portal, noones actually reading our issues there, we get directed here then noone bothers updating the tickets or actually saying this is being investigated?

How is a core element of the game missing for 7 months and we have no feedback, no way to actually communicate? Support is just automated just like this Jira system and twitter, 

ANY form of feedback would be highly appreciated?

 
 
there are many people buying the game for its multiplayer option.
And there are also a lot of complaints in this forum that this game function does not work properly.

I've been experiencing this problem on PS4 since January, and I reported it here in February. However, I was able to play yesterday in multiplayer with my friend with whom it didn't work before. I don't really understand why, because we both tried many times to reinstall the game on our console and it didn't change anything about the problem... Yet after I reinstalled it again yesterday, we were able to connect together in the world of a third friend. We didn't try to connect directly to each other's world after that for fear that it wouldn't work again.
I find this really strange because, like I said, reinstalling the game hadn't solved our problem until now.On top of that, it was also impossible for us to join a third person's world if one of us was connected to it, which really prevented us from being in the same game at the same time (unless we launched Editions). So I really can't understand why it worked yesterday, but maybe it can be a lead to finding a solution.

After some experiments, I could see that now I can play with my friend but only if the world is owned by a third person. By the way, More and more often I have a problem that causes the game menu to freeze and I can't do anything more. The only solution I've found is to reinstall the game. This problem may be related to the one we are talking about here because it is since the appearance of this new bug that I can play with my friend. I hope it can help, and it would be really nice if after so many months Mojang would finally give us some news about it...

this problem is still ongoing and my ticked concerning connection issues between Ps4 and Ps4 was just closed because it’s a duplicate to this one here. We are really disappointed because we also bought it to play together and since a few weeks we are also experiencing trouble with the connection. I see the profile of my friend online and i am also able to invite him on my world but the loading screen won’t end or the connection will fail after a few seconds and it is shown that the world cannot be longer joined by any friends?

If i try to join my friends world he even sees me as an active player in the options menu to his world and could give me an operator status eg. I also have to admit any kind of feedback would be very appreciated by mojang. If they only need several hours to close my ticket please do a statement to this problem!!! I didn’t even find this ticket in weeks of research for a solution to this problem. I am sorry for us all that this support is obviously not giving shit about our problem.  

Is this still an issue in the latest hotfix version? (1.16.40)

Sadly as of 1.16.40 I am still have this issue. Don’t know about anyone else as only me and one other friend are having this and not the others. 

I am also still having the issue.   My friend on PS4 does not show up on my friends list in game nor do I for him.   I can invite him from in game menu & he can join me.   The only way I can see his worlds is if we remove each other from our friends list & re-add each other making sure that we accept the request so that we're not "following" each other.   I cannot join his world though as I continue to get this same error.  The only thing that this "fix" fixed is the ability for him (PS4) to join me (PC).

I am having a similar issue. I am on a ps4 and my friend is on an android tablet. We are both friends on our xbox accounts. I managed to join his World, but he was u able to join mine. When I tried to invite him it said I had no cross platform friends. So I clicked to add him again as a cross platform friend but it won't add and keeps saying add friend on the button.  We have previous to the latest updates joined each others worlds many times

We got almost the same problem. We can't join each other. It said cannot connect the world. And the menu from the multi-player settings is Grey so I can't do any changes. Maybe we have to open some port but I dont know which ports. 

adding ports does not resolve.  the PS4 needs to be on Type 2 NAT & Xbox must be set to open NAT. My ports are open & my NAT is open. I used Quick Assist to remotely connect to my friends admin page to his router to open ports.  His is now Type 2 & we still have the connection error when I try to join him only, he can join me no issues. 

This has been going on for years now. We are not able to join each other's Minecraft world in PS4. We are only able to join each other if we go on the old version of Minecraft in the ps4. Which is extremely boring and sucks all the fun out of the game because we are not able to experience all the new things together. We've tried deleting and reinstalling the game but we still get the same error "Unable to connect to world." This is very discouraging since the only reason we both got the game was to play with each other, but thanks to this glitch it feels like a complete waste of money. I believe I included a picture of how each of our screens look whenever we try to join each other

This issue is not resolved.  I still cannot see my friend's world who is on PS4. They still have no friends showing on their friends list.   They still cannot see my worlds.  We still cannot play together.

I am having the same issue as well. Me (Windows 10) and my girlfriend (Xbox One) were able to play together. Now we are unable to connect to either of our Newly created or pre existing worlds. We are stuck on the loading screen.

Have had this problem for over 2 weeks now. P,ease get it sorted. I am on ps4 and can't connect to friends World on android or xbox. And they can't connect to mine either 

Very big disappointment from the support center.
Isn't it important to fix a trivial matter? No game together! It's not multiplayer!
Add content Dlc a skins figure yes ! Don't make money on something that doesn't work for about 6 months, maybe longer.

@Daniel Menil don't ask the staff when it will be fixed. It may take time for them to fix this, do you have any idea how they code this?

@Jesse Kohn I just think that an issue as big as not being able to play multiplayer should’ve been prioritized or at least resolved by now. 1 year of only single player is a long time

I am having the same problem with being unable to join my friends on PS4 but they can join me whenever I am connected to my Microsoft account on the"Xbox Console Companion" app. Also, I can join them when they are linked to their Microsoft accounts on their PS4 and having their PCs on and connected to the "Xbox Console Companion" app.

October 31st 2020. There are still connection issues with no sign of anyone doing anything. After 10 months Mojang still fails to help us get what we were promised.

Where is the fix, this problem has been going on for so long its ridiculous, people have paid money for a game and the main feature is that you can play with friends and now we cant even do that, fix it. 

It's just so stupid when you buy a game that you want to play with friends and it was working for you the day before and all of a sudden the next day you can't play with friends because of it. So now we have to hear our friends play it with each other while Mojang can't even get it fix. 

I've been having this issue since legacy to bedrock

 Found out today if I join and cancel repeatedly Sometimes it will let me join his world. Makes me believe it's a time out error maybe.

edit : LAN always works for us and connecting to other consoles and devices works fine (2 player) but never opposite connections.

Attempting some port forwarding, we'll let you know if we come up with anything. 

edit2 : we can reliable join each other now. Not sure if it was the update or the port forwarding but we also have servers now from the update.

Edit3 brother and I have been playing on realms just fine however we ran into not being able to connect to each other world's again. IF I start a new world he can connect right away but after the world reaches about 90mb he can't join anymore. Seems I wasn't able to fix the problem after all.

My son now suddenly can't connect to his friends worlds. They were playing on servers a few days ago and he had to set up a Microsoft Account to make it work.  Now they are back to playing regular worlds and it keeps saying he is not connected to Playstation Network.  He is connected to Playstation Network because he can multiplayer on other games.  Both of us are complete techno phobes and have no idea how these things work or affect each other!  I'm putting this here in case it's something simple someone can help us with! We've checked internet. He's logged out of the Microsoft account. Can't think of anything else.  He's on the right account (we played Just Shapes and Beats with 2 controllers).  They are on the same version.  All that I can think has happened is that he did have a PS update and since then it hasn't worked.

It is really, really frustrating. He is 12 and I'm 46. Anyone got any ideas?

We had 3 stacks of diamonds and about a stack of ancient debris.
We put so much effort into it and I can't join him now.
It's very annoying.

I am seeing the same issue on iOS. Both phones are running Minecraft  1.16.201.

it was working OK a few days ago and today it doesn't work.

we're both logged in in our Xbox/Microsoft accounts and we can send an invite from one phone to the other. But when I try to join, I get "Unable to connect to world"

if I log out of my Microsoft account, it suddenly starts working and I can join the game...

My bug report was tempted to come here, I don't get up on any world from my friends, but on the server I always have an infinite loading screen, please dear Minecraft team fix it as soon as possible

It's unbelievable after a year a trillion dollar company (microsoft) is unable to solve a multiplayer bug into one of the most successful game. 

Tried everything and still cannot play multiplayer. 

Same issue here, regardless of whether the person I invite is on the PS4 or a PC. I'm on the PS4 version myself, and I can't say whether it had the same problem when it was called the PS4 version.

I can play multiplayer on realms with said friends, granted, but I'd still like to invite them to the main world I've been working on for years.

Hear me out, but I think the issue is related to PS parties... The only time I've been trying to connect to my brother's world(s) is when he's been in a party with friends, even though the invites are set to Friends of Friends, so I should be able to get into the game. I play on Android or Windows 10, but can't join my brother when he's in a PS Party. 

When trying to join a friends online world, I get an error saying unable to connect to game with no explanation as to why. I have tried this with multiple different friends and worlds and cannot join any. They can also not join mine. I've never had this error before, can you help me?

I have seen lots of different 'fixes' online but none seem to work, and I cannot change the nat type of my PS4/router. For some reason if we start a new world in the old edition of minecraft we can join each other, however in the new version we always get this error. Nothing in my internet settings has changed since we last played, but now we can't join each other. Is there a way around this?

Furthermore, @JP please stop asking these questions until you yourself know how to code your way around the glitchy and crumbly PlayStation and hypersensative C++.

I am running the most recent update for Minecraft on the PS4 and now I have run into this issue. The game recently updated to include the Realms feature. The only other thing that changed is I had to uninstall and reinstall the game due to the "red screen of death" from bug MCPE-84790. After doing that I can't play with other PlayStation network friends because it says I'm not signed in even though I am.

I've tried restarting the game, restarting the console, signing out and back in, and now I'm reinstalling the game once again. 

Please fix this madness. I've played years with no trouble but this last year has been awful.

My son has the same problem today.

Logged in to psn/microsoft in the game, able to play everything else, has ps-plus, but gets that he is "not connected to playstation network", which is just not correct.

Played Minecraft yesterday with no issues. Tried uninstalling, restarting ++.

Please prioritize this issue! 

I have the same problem, it shows me I am not connected to playstation network which i clearly am and have tried everything to fix it and nothing works. Please fix this issue already how has this been going on for this long.

Please read the Mojang-Microsoft logs. There is a PS crash stopping Microsoft accounts to connect to the internet right niw. They don't know when it'll be fixed 

The issue is still around with 1.16.201.

• My kids play on Switch, can connect to each other (Switch to Switch).

• We have a realm that everybody can connect to (both Switch and PS4).

• When they try to connect to my running world (Switch to PS4), they can.

• When I try to connect to them (PS4 to Switch), all I get is "Unable to connect to world." after about half a minute.

I have tried for the PS4: port forwarding to the PS4 what I found might help, resetting all settings (requiring a new MS account login) as well as reinstalling the game, all to no avail.

I was having this problem on ps4 connecting to windows 10 now I'm on windows 10 connecting to windows 10 and still have the issue

 I have this issue when connecting to my daughter's world and she has the issue connecting to my world. She is on the iPad and I am on the Nintendo switch. We haven't been able to connect to eachother's worlds in months.

I am having the same issue. Doing a network firewall trace, when I try to connect to another PS4 over the internet, I see the connection from my private RFC1918 IP going to their public IP via my public IP. However all of the sudden my PS4 tries to connect directly to their RFC1918 IP address, which will never happen, as a 10.x.x.x isn't allowed to talk to a 192.168.x.x over the Internet. This would explain why the connections work on the same wifi/lan, but not over the Internet. 

Both playstations are set to NAT Type 2, and all other games work that require PS->PS communications, it is just Minecraft that won't connect. 

It is also happening to me on Pocket Edition

So I am trying to connect to my friend who plays Minecraft on PS5, and whenever I try to connect with my PS5 to him, it says "Unable to connect to world". He is able to play with others in the world and they are on PS4, connecting no problem to him. I have tried to join him in separate worlds and it does not work. Please help, thank you. They can't join me either. I have deleted my game and saved data already and that doesnt solve it as well as sign in and out of microsoft account.

So I‘ve tried playing with my friend again after having the same problem like described here & it obviously didn’t work. But I also tried today playing via split screen and then it worked. She could join, so it’s not like it’s not possible to play together. You can, but not online. Because when we tried playing together afterwards it still won’t work. So maybe this information will help?

Been having the same issue for over a year now. It would be GREAT, if this reacurring issue stopped being ignored and finally got fixed. Especially on ps4. Tired of waiting at this point and I rarely touch Minecraft anymore because of this reason.

This is happening to me also... i am on ps4 and everytime i try to play with my son who is on nintendo i get stuck on the loading server screen! Its been hapoening for months. Ive tried to delete minecraft and reload and it diesnt do anything.  also signing in and out of microsoft account several times... doesnt do anything! He plays cross platform with his friends fine. I cant join his game from friends list or when he invites me. Please help. 

I have had a lot of trouble with cross platform between Xbox and Nintendo switch.

Xbox Joining switch has 100% fail rate. Xbox loads for ~15 mins. then Switch Host sees

(Xbox_player) left the game, in chat, even though it never said (Xbox_player) joined the game,

Xbox continues loading infinitly.

This is not the same bug. The one you are talking about happens with about every platform connecting with a Switch. Here we are talking about PS4 users that can't join or be joined by any platform. Feel free to vote for the correct bug report though. 

Paid for playstation+ specifically so I can play with minecraft friends.  Still unable to connect with friends.  Is there an ETA on a fix?

I cannot connect to my husband's world. He can connect to mine and other friends can join both of us but I cannot join his. No idea why, we have tried everything under the sun and still nothing. Try to send a bug report, it gets marked as a duplicate and I am told that "it is being tracked" or " it is being looked into". ... Horrible customer service .... This problem has been ongoing for many people and they still do not fix it and new players are also being affected. 

I have also experienced the same problem, I can't join my friend and he can't join me either. We are able to play with other people but not together, if we go back to the ps4 version we are able to play together without any issues even mini games work, but can't join each other in New versións 

i get this issue too. It’s not a matter of wifi. Me and my sister both have microsoft accounts and even under the same wifi we can’t connect. sometimes one of us logs out of our microsoft account and it still doesn’t work. we can connect to servers, but we can’t join each others worlds. Before the 1.17.30 update, she could join mine but i couldn’t join hers but now that we’ve updated, she can’t join mine either. pls fix i hope this was helpful. we both play on pocket edition, btw.

This issue is now happening on 1.19.31 and I have no idea why I've tried everything from hard resetting my ps4 to making sure me and my friend are on the same public dns servers but still "unable to connect to world" this issue has only appeared in the recent weeks so i have no idea on what do to... 

I have also the same problem

I (PC) can join to my friend (PS4) but my Friend (PS4) cant join to me (PC)

We both deinstall game, change Nat-type and restart device & router too

I hope there is a fix asap.

Having this same problem. I am on PC and cannot join my friend on PS4 and vice versa

When will this bug get fixed I can't play on Minecraft without it being fixed!

We believe this may have been improved with a change made recently - please let us know if the situation improves over the next few days.

The worst part, last week, I could connect just fine. This week? Completely busted. I can play on hosted servers like The Hive just fine, but on players worlds? Can't join the server I was playing on the most recently (my PS5 -> PC Host)

• PS5: Tried a different PSN account.

• PS5: Tried reinstalling the game. ❌

• PS5: Tried switching between wifi and ethernet. ❌

• PC: Tried disabling Windows Firewall. ❌

• Tried resetting my router. ❌

• Tried a different PS5. ❌

• PS5: Tried signing in/signing out of microsoft. ❌

• PS5: Tried unlinking account so I can re-link it. ❌

  • Also unlinking is completely busted for me "Something went wrong". Shocker of the century. Likely caused because the game was bought and linked to my microsoft account's main email address at the time (custom domain). I then replaced my microsoft account's main email with another and removed the original email address from my microsoft account. I was at one point able to link it to a different email address, but I probably broke all of your stuff by doing this. If you saw some weird error logs on your server around 9pm EST today about unlinking breaking, it's probably me. Contact me if you want.

What I can say is that the biggest problem seems to be related to PlayStation Network for me. Or your service as it tries to do cross-play.

Suffice to say, I am extremely annoyed that I can no longer play on my PS5. My PC has been decommissioned for being 10 years old and I really don't want to play on my phone unless I absolutely have to.

Same issue for me and my kids yesterday. I play on PC and they play on PS5. They cannot connect to me. I can connect to them. This is a LAN game also. Valid PSN Subscription. We tested on the Xbox and we can play on that system. This is a PS5 issue. Version 1.19.x.x. 

I have this same issue i am unable to join worlds hosted on windows 10 version of Minecraft through my ps4, I have an active ps plus subscription i am able to play realms and servers, and i am able to join other ps4 users. I hope this is fixed soon

been having this issue with as well, I play on PC and someone else plays on PlayStation, I can join them just fine but they can't join me at all.

Same issue here.  I have two PC's and a PS5.  I have a family xBox account where all the settings are set correctly.  Everything was working for a while and then all of a sudden, not.

PC -> PC works fine.

PC -> PS5 works fine.

PS5 -> PC does NOT work fine.

The issue for me is that I spent a grip of money on my one account to get all the maps and naturally that is now the account (PC) that the (PS5) can't connect to 😞

I did reach out to Minecraft support and they said that this is a global problem and they are aware of it.  I gave them all the steps I did to try and resolve it and they said I've done everything I can and now it's just a waiting game.  Problem is, I did this ticket a couple weeks ago and there's still no solution.  I wouldn't be too upset but money is involved now and it's kinda lame they aren't doing anything about it.  Makes me not trust to buy anything from this company anymore.  Companies like Blizzard and others would have this handled the same day.

This issue was still present as of Jan 17th 2023. Since the bug report has not been updated I have not tried to login and replicate the issue again. A mod commented today asking if this is still an issue and I would say absolutely unless you have fixed something since Jan 17th 2023.  PS5 players cannot connect to PC players worlds, via LAN or gamertag. 

It's working since today at least 🙂 What was the issue is I may ask?

Can confirm that as of 1/26/23 the PS5 can now connect to PC via LAN.   Thank you to whoever solved this issue!
