[MCPE-119338] I cannot join my friends world and he can't join mine it says ''unable to join world''

Me and my friend can't play mincraft survival multiplayer, but we can join servers. i belive that we are on a diffrent version because I have Editions and he doesn't
What we've tried:
Deleting and reinstaling mincraft
Rebuilding the database
Reseting our PS4 to no success.

We are both on NAT TYPE 2 please help.
