The future to play on friends' local worlds does not work between ps4 and ps5 (it does however work between Xbox one and ps5). When trying the text "unable to connect to the world" shows up. I've tried all official guidelines to resolve this issue and none is working. I've waited for almost a year for a bug fix but none have arrived. I'm aware of the fact that similar bugs have been reported but all have been redirected to issues MCPE-58587 which in my understanding is NOT experiencing the same problem. Is a solution underway and when is it to be expected?

The issue they discuss is a problem some ps4 to ps4 users experience, not all since I know numeros people this works for. But when it comes to crossplay between ps5 and ps4 from personal experience, words from others and from what can be read online it does not work at all specifically between ps4 and ps5 which is a significant difference. Btw thanks for the fast response!
The existing MCPE-58587 report is specifically for PlayStations in general (PS4, PS5, mixed) not being able to connect to each other. If you think that your issue is different, please be more specific about what is different.
