Console players unable to connect to PC players

Me and my friends haven’t been able to connect to my Minecraft worlds regardless of size. Every time they see the world they attempt to load into the world and then after waiting a long time they get this error: “Connection timed out…Unable to connect to world” We’ve attempted many troubleshooting methods, here’s a list below

Reload the world

Reload the game

Unfriend and Friend

Update to the latest version

Uninstall reinstall

Updated my drivers

Disabled windows firewall for Minecraft.exe

Connected a Ethernet cable

Attempted a different world

Close all other programs

Log out and log into Microsoft account

Restarting PC

And after this my other friend who uses PC has run into the same issue, none of his console friends can connect to him. I wish I could be more help but I’m unsure what exactly is causing it but since my other friend has the same issue I know it isn’t my PC. Thank you in advance for the help.

What console(s) are your friends using?

I have run into the same exact problem and have tried mostly the same things you did as well. Did you have any success on beating the problem because I would love to know how to fix this problem.

@Ikazino I haven't found a solution yet, and since I made this post 3 other people on mcpe reddit have come to me and expressed their troubles as well

I am seeing the same issue (PS4/PS5 -> PC) and posted more detail on MCPE-165811. Sounds like a similar issue, in my case with PS4/PS5 connecting to my PC (Windows 10) on a local network.

The original OP is using Switch to try to connect to PC - he mentions this on a Reddit post here: https://www.reddit.com/r/MCPE/comments/10a20cs/none_of_my_friends_on_console_can_connect_to_my/

I am also having the same issue, a few weeks ago my daughter (Switch) is no longer able to connect to me (PC). We are both on the latest version 1.19.51, tried logging out, rebooting, all kinds of other things, with no luck. This has only started to happen in the last few weeks, prior to this we were able to connect with no problems.

I've checked my Nintendo Switch Online membership which is good till 27/03/2023.

I've tried new worlds, old worlds etc.

Connecting to a world running on the Switch actually works, but the world we've been playing on for nearly a year is not on the switch (and previously we had to stop doing it that way around due to the really bad performance when hosting on a switch).

You can see the world appear in the "Join Cross-Platform Friends" section on the switch, but when trying to connect it gets to the "Connecting to multiplayer game" screen and after a while tells you it failed to connect.

edit: I realised this is probably a duplicate of https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCPE-165811
